Ecodistil
Professional solvent recovery
Ecodistill is an automatic solvent recovery system. It separates the dissolved solids, pigments and other components from the solvent by distillation. This process allows a recovery rate over 85% (*), allowing to re-use it in cleaning applications and achieving a considerable waste reduction.
The solvent recovery unit is composed of a distiller equipped with a vacuum group, a heat exchanger to condense the steam, a reboiler to collect the condensation and two 2000 litres stainless steel tanks for dirty and clean solvent.

Operation
Boiler filling, Distillation and Depletion
Boiler filling: After adjusting the parameters of the solvent to recover (degree of volatility and dirtiness), the boiler is filled to a preset level.
Distillation:
The oil is heated to the suitable temperature to distil the solvent and achieve the optimum recovery rate. The vapours are extracted with the vacuum pump. Then they run through an air/water heat exchanger, where the solvent condenses before being sent to the clean solvent tank.
During distillation the level of solvent inside the boiler drops and the system reloads it to keep a constant level and avoid heat loss.
Depletion and unloading: According to the preset distillation parameters, the PLC calculates the total number of input litres to get an optimum waste. Once the total number of litres calculated has been loaded, the distiller begins the depletion stage and no more solvent is loaded into the boiler. When the distiller reaches the optimum waste level the system stops and releases the waste. The operation is always supervised from the PLC, which checks levels and temperatures.
Ecodistil
Economic
Low consumption and maintenance
The vacuum and the agitator* allow a distillation with minimum energy consumption. Due to the integrated Teflon scraper*, only the filters need to be cleaned, requiring a low maintenance.
