Comexi Group will attend the Conference about the technology trends in flexography and rotogravure to take place from 1st to 2nd July at Mexico City, DF.
The purpose of this seminar is to gather different flexo printing and rotogravure manufacturers in order to discuss the new technological advantages to make our industry more competitive in view of the new world economic situation..
Comexi Group will talk about the eComexi solution under the theme “Today’ solutions for Tomorrow’s demands” and printing and finishing as added value. During the speech, we will provide insist on different solutions to increase added value of the packaging by using EB and UV curable inks and coating with no VOC emissions, for coating, lacquering and special effects for the packaging.

Comexi North America is pleased to announce the partnering with Marco Schaeuble, President of Fast Technology, LLC an Austin, Texas based manufacturers’ representative group as an agent for the Central Region of the US. Mr. Schaeuble brings over twenty years of sales, marketing and management experience in the flexible packaging industry. His area of machinery expertise is in flexographic and rotogravure printing as well as specialty coating and solvent based/solventless laminations. He will be representing the Comexi line of flexographic printing presses, solventless and solvent based laminators, slitters, printing sleeve storage systems, and solvent recovery systems.

During the last Open House held in Comexi Group from 1st to 3rd of June, the new press F4FLEXOEfficiency® was presented as a world premiere, developed as part of an ambitious program for a new concept of central drum flexo presses, whose purpose is to provide flexo efficient machines in the broad sense of the word.

The 8-colour F4 FLEXOEfficiency® press helps you face these challenges, featuring a new doctor blade chamber support design that reduces change times dramatically and increases accessibility, a design that simplifies maintenance and changeovers, and a width of 670mm/26.3’’ (up to 870mm/34.2’’) with minimum repetition of 240mm/9.4’’ (up to a maximum repeat of 600mm/23.6’’), creating cylinder savings for a direct impact on the per-square-meter cost of your product. The maximum speed is 300 mpm/984 ftpm.

n50: Comexi Group expands product range

Comexi Society Group, SL has recently established in Italy its subsidiary COMEXI CONVERTING SOLUTIONS, Srl which will focus on the development of two business areas: the first one dedicated to the design, manufacture and commercialization of gravure printing machines, and the second one on special projects in the area of flexible packaging.
Further to the business area of gravure presses, Comexi Converting Solutions Srl has reached an agreement that allows the production of gravure presses with the know-how and technology ACOM Srl and to offer technical assistance services of the machines already installed. This arrangement allows continuing to offer to the market an option with more than 50 years of experience in the design, manufacture and commercialization of gravure printing equipment.
The headquarters of this business area will be situated in Podenzano (Piacenza-Italy). Personnel from Acom Srl will carry out these activities, led by Mr. Gian Vito Schiavi.
In regards of this important decision, Manel P.
