The range of laminators Nexus OPTIMA has been designed to provide the best drying capacities for the flexible packaging market and to achieve the best productivity for all types of laminates.
The design of their drying tunnels, with a completely new modular concept, allows to set the Nexus OPTIMA with different versions depending on the interests of the customer, whether it is duplex, triplex or multi-layer solutions.
The efficiency, productivity, power saving and ergonomics are the principles that have guided the design of this new range of laminators from NEXUS Comexi.

Drying system
Best efficiency with the new drying sections
The new drying tunnel has been designed with independent units that allow different configurations and achieve a perfect adaptation to the multiple needs of our customers. Each unit can be opened separately for easy access to the rollers and nozzles for easy-cleaning or maintenance. The thermal isolation of the whole tunnel and the automatic recirculation system controlled by an infrared LEL, allows important energy savings.
All rollers are motorised in each section through a belt system. The drying hot air is blown on top of each roll through stainless steel nozzles with double output designed to create the best turbulence and to provide the best drying performance.
The impulsion and expulsion air fans are controlled by drivers that regulate the air volume desired by each application to achieve the best accuracy while controlling the air temperature, the adjustment is done by an advanced logic system “Fuzzy” that allows to adapt to the possible changes of the environment.

PRODAT software
Graphic setting and traceability control
It consists on an intuitive graphical interface “touch screen” to control the operational setting of the machine. It is characterized by its simplicity and easy-use which provides the supervision and control operator’s with only one screen.
PRODAT is a complete job’s manager system able to group according to customers, which allows the storage of all parameters of the laminator in different working files. Besides, it incorporates a powerful traceability control, providing all information of the parameters in every meter of reel produced.
It provides an elegant and simple interface for the operator and it also brings a complete and comprehensive control data for the company.
